I don't know why I do what I do.
The s**t I do, I can't stop for you.
I try so hard, I cry and cry,
but with each fail is the incentive to die.
I get upset and cut my wrists,
but you get word of the act, and suddenly pissed.
I tried so hard to die from the pills,
God kept me alive, his f--king thrills.
There's nothing left of this f--king life,
With these words, I'll grab a knife.
I'll press it to my skin, and tightly shut my eyes,
draw a quick breath, and whisper my goodbyes.
Drag the blade up my arm,
shove it down, intend the harm.
Thoughts rush back that I know too well,
For this forbidden act, I'm insured to Hell.
I fully intend to die tonight,
You asked, I smiled, "I'll be alright".
I lock my door, and sink against the wall,
Tonight is the night that I'll end it all..

It was your hurtful words that cut me deep,
making my promise more difficult to keep.
I stood there, I took it, I didn't breathe a word,
Not that it would've mattered, I wouldn't be heard.
Your friends smiled and mockingly sneered,
while the rest of the cafeteria did nothing but cheer.
I took my escape when I finally could,
I burned from embarrassment, You knew that I would.
I sat in the bathroom and silently cried,
I knew on the inside, I'd finally died.
I barely know you, Why did you put on that show?
I think there is one thing you ought to know.
My life is a b---h, It's nothing but s--t,

You call me an "emo", You say I complain,
but what would You do with all this pain?

I realize there's only so much that you can take.
I just wish you would stop asking why,
Take it in stride, Just let me die.
I searched for a wall to pin this s--t to,
But I tore them down 'cause I had you.
You're about to break, so I'm building them tall,
Then I'll stand on the edge and You'll watch me fall.
I'll take in motion, a fall from my grace,
You'll only see the smile on my tear-stained face.
I'll paint on a smile, and wear it with "pride",
Masking the fact, I've already died.
You tell me you're shaking, But it's not so bad,
That's what you think, It makes me so sad.
You tell me it's harder for you to eat,
and all I can taste is the taste of defeat.
With these last few words, I've started to cry,
You say you can take it, so why can't I?

no one goes to hell for writing poetry .... they just get a disaproving look from jesus O.o (like the one my spell check is giving me rightnnow for mispellingm so very many things that i don't feel like correcting)

MCR - Thanks, though I rarely share my work, this was a bit of a first for me, partially because they suck so passionately, and my language comes from emotion, which is often highly inappropriate.
