I love Risk, one of my favorite board games to play. Although I only like playing with a group that knows what their doing, otherwise it's not uncommon for some-one to vertually kill themselves while fighting a much smaller threat then nessacary.
Australia should only be 1 extra troop, it' so much easier to defend then South America and net gains you the smae advantage.

Armies are set up in the Napoleonic-era based world. World domination is the only way to win. It's a startigy based game which you pit your armies against others. Battles are decided by dice rolls. You may only roll dice equal to the number of troops you have in combat up to 3 if your attacking and 2 if your defending. Each player roles the dice and you match the highest number to the opposing highest number then your next highest number to the opposing's next highest number. You lose 1 unit for evey one that you loes, ties go to the defender. Anyway, statagy, truse's, grudges all work into the play of the game to make it dinamic and different with each play.
