Well we cant be sure of that...besides if what you say is true and Light isnt kira then he should have no reason to denie observation...
Dont look at as a punishment, look at it as a way of clearing his name.

There observtion must be constant otherwise it would have no point. The length of the observation is what im having trouble on deciding...
And whether light should be the only one under survailence.

Well we have no other way of proving his innocense...
-glances at missa- And those close to him will need to monitered as well...for if he is kira there is a chance he could be using them.
And as for those who will be observing Light...there identities must remain hidden for safety reasons.

I was just imforming Miss Aname that since Light is a suspect he must be observed carefully. We must find out whether he is Kira or not, because if he is Kira we are only helping him by giving him vital information on the kira case.

Plus Light is a member of the task force he needs to be here with us helping solve the case. Constant careful observation will be just as effective as "locking him up".

Your help is welcomed Mello but you cant just do what you want. You must do whats right for the investigation. If things get out of hand we may vary well need to lock light up to prove his innocense...but were not to that point yet.

Unfortunately patience is not Mello's strong suit...hes a man of action. He may be trouble if not utilized correctly. If we let him do what he pleases he may be more of a pain than a asset to the investigation.
