poem contest

i like to do a poem contest anyone can enter. just post your poem for everyone to see and when everyone has posted there poem. ill hold a poll so you can vote for the one you like every one has a 2 weeks from today to post there poem. there is no reward. all but to show off your work . any poem will work in any form only 1 poem per person tho to keep it fair im sure in the near furture there be more contests. best to of luck to every and have fun. i look forward to reading everyones poem. if you have an questions about the contest feel free to mail me and ill try to get back to you asp.

My poem is called live your life, een when im not there(yea its a sad poem >.>)



When my heart gives out

And it’s time for me to go

Don’t end your life early

Live your life like I lived mine



I know you would miss me

And I will miss you too

But you have to keep living

Even if I’m not going to be there



I know when I die you would cry

I’d cry too if you left me

And every night I would remember

All our good and bad times we’ve had together



I’m sure the night of my funeral

You would cry yourself to sleep

Thinking about all of our good times

And bad times, but laugh at our silly times



While your laughing tears

Would be streaming down your eyes

Your tears would be a never ending river

Until you soon except my death



And continue with your life

Like I would want you to

And I would watch over you from

The heavens above in the clouds



I know you might have some other thoughts

In the back of your head saying

“I want to join you so I’ll kill myself”

But you shouldn’t be thinking that



Would you think I would want you to kill yourself for me?

You think I would be happy if you do?

Do you think my soul would be at peace if

You killed yourself just to be with me?



No, I wouldn’t so continue with your life

And make the best of it by doing what

You wanted and planned to do before

My heart gave out and I died

night is falling
the streets are empty
no people are wondering
no lights to guide your way
buildings stand in ruin
emptiness fills the air
seclusion of life is like no light
that shows you the way
bitterness is in the ally
no shadows you will see
welcome to the lost world
where no one lives or breathes

there you have it ^ ^ its short i admit but enjoy ^.^

When I tell you how I feel,
that I love you with everything.
Do you worry or fret...?
Grow concerned for the future?
Or do you feel safe...
Knowing how much I care.
Am I a fool for believing
when you tell me you love me...
Or should I take every word
and hold them close to my heart...
I see the best and worst in you.
I've been with you through the good and bad.
I'd gladly go throught it all again...
as long as I'm with you
everything will be alright.

I got a poem! (bare with me I was a bit depressed when i wrote it)

Dark Tears
A tear fell from my face
Making myself a disgrace
Not wanting it to be seen,
My weakness from within

My eyes are covered in black
Hiding the gloom at the back
Bluring my vision,
Only seeing illusions

Nothing in this world is real,
As well as what I feel
So tired of shedding these tears
Along with my heartaches and fears

All the pain and sorrow
From yesterday till tomorrow
Hoping it would all be over
Even if it seems like forever

Well thats my poem! Love it? hate it? either way i could care less

Well dreamwinder started the competition and he isn't on at the moment to end it so...I HAVE NO CLUE?
